It’s been said that “The best defense against a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun”.
But in today’s world it can be difficult to tell them apart. This device “aims” to solve that problem. Simply wave it around indiscriminately and power is generated by the rotating counterweight, activating the good-guy/bad-guy meter….sometimes it gets stuck though, so be careful (this is meant as satire, sculpture is totally harmless).
Every element was found — scrap yards, second-hand stores, dumpsters — then cleaned, stripped, sorted and rebuilt. Found aluminum is TIG-welded and sanded seamless; nothing is cast. The electronics are salvaged from consumer devices, repaired and rewired so the piece does something when you touch it.
